For more than 50 years, the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has been the UK’s leading small business organisation and a powerful advocate for small businesses and the self-employed, championing their interests and providing the advice, support and services they need to succeed.
FSB is looking for self-employed Membership Advisors in selected regions of the UK, offering experienced sales professionals the opportunity to build their own business with the backing of a trusted and nationally recognised organisation.
Whether you are looking to create a new business or add a high-quality revenue stream to your existing portfolio, the opportunity combines independence and flexibility with comprehensive training and ongoing support.
Working directly with small business owners and the self-employed, Membership Advisors introduce the benefits of FSB membership and help businesses access expert advice, support and services. You will become part of your local business community, develop your territory, generate referrals and create a strong pipeline of new membership opportunities.
The opportunity is particularly well suited to commercially minded B2B sales professionals and individuals already operating within financial services, telecoms, insurance, recruitment or other business-facing sectors. The confidence and ability to engage with small business owners and decision makers, develop relationships and identify new opportunities will be key to success.
As a self-employed Membership Advisor, you are your own boss and control your own schedule, while benefiting from FSB’s training, business support and established sales systems. This allows you to concentrate on developing your territory and growing your income.
FSB offers uncapped commission, paid monthly, with the flexibility to develop the opportunity around your own ambitions and existing commitments. Building a strong local network and generating referrals provides the potential to create a substantial and rewarding long-term income.
Membership Advisors need to be ambitious, resilient and self-motivated individuals. As the role involves meeting businesses throughout your territory, a full UK driving licence and access to a car or suitable transport are required. Previous CRM experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, please contact Lisa Rogers at FSB on ma.opportunities@fsb.org.uk and include a recent CV. Alternatively, simply click the APPLY button on this page, add your details and we’ll be in touch for a confidential conversation.
